Educational Qualifications:
- passed 12th class / Senior Secondary (10+2) examination
- have Certificate in Library Science, or
- having Bachelor's Degree in Library & Information Science, or
- Diploma in Library & Information Science

- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Rajasthan government rules.
How to apply for RSSB Librarian Recruitment 2025
Eligible candidates can submit their online form from 05 March onwards up to 03 April 2025 through RSSB website rssb.rajasthan.gov.in or directly using sso.rajasthan.gov.in portal. It will be better for applicants to complete application process well before last date to avoid any last-minute issues.
Selection Process:
There will be an objective type written examination having two papers that will be conducted on 27 July 2025. Both papers will have 100 questions of two marks each with duration 2 hours for each paper. Candidates who qualify in the written test of will be called for the verification of their documents.

- Admit Card: to be available 7-10 days before exam date.
- No. of papers: 2
- Marks of each paper: 200
- No. of questions and duration of each paper: 100, 2 hours

- General/OBC Creamy Layer: ₹600

RSSB Librarian Salary Structure and Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in Rajasthan Pay Matrix Level 10 (Pay Scale ₹9300-34800 grade pay 3600). They will receive full salary with allowances after probation but there will be fixed salary without allowances during probationary period.
